Wendell Personette age 82, of Richmond, IN passed away November 9, 2012, at his residence surrounded with love. He was born February 9, 1930 in Richmond to Arthur and Mary Personette.
Wendell was a World War II Navy Veteran. He retired from Eaton Gear Works after 35 years of loyal service. Wendell enjoyed throwing darts, and watching IU Hoosier Basketball with his many friends at the U & I Tavern. He was loved by his children and will be missed dearly, more than imagined, by all of his family and for all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his four daughters: Debbie Personette of Kimmel, Indiana, MaryAnn Spillman of Florence, Kentucky; Teresa Adams of Niles, Michigan and Kelley Personette Jacobs of Leesburg, Florida; two sons: Marc Personette of Richmond, Indiana and David Personette of Albion, Indiana; brother: Donald Personette of Atlanta, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son: Jeffrey Personette; granddaughter: Nicole Abernathy; two sisters: Wyota Fleetwood and Roberta Van Winkle; and lifelong friend: Betty Clark.
Funeral Services for Wendell will be Wednesday November 14, 2012, at 6 PM at Community Family Funeral Home 101 West Main Street Richmond, Indiana 47374.
